When a communications link is required either in a fixed remote location or mobile environment you can count on King modems.
Typical applications include mobile environments such as Taxi/Limo where GPS (Automatic Vehicle Location), Taxi-Meter, Magswipe (Credit Card), and/or Mobile Data Terminals are required. All these requirements are accomplished via GPRS using the KGP100 or via two-way radio using the KGR100.
In addition to an abundance of serial ports the KG series modems include 6 general purpose Input/Output connections to monitor either discrete (on/off) or analog connections. These connections can monitor such things as lights and siren on/off, ignition sense, engine temperature, or panic button activation.
